Warbird Collection

WWII warplane heritage — fighter-nose art translated onto the arsenal.

  • 18 weapons
  • 4 grades
  • Mercenary → Elite ladder
  • 5 wear tiers each

Theme & concept

Warbird is the aviation set, and it is unusually literate about its references. The names are real fighter aircraft and their nicknames: Warhawk (the P-40), Corsair, Butcher Bird (the Fw 190’s Allied nickname), Airwolf, plus Killer Bee, Red Bear and the Blitzkrieg family. The aesthetic is fighter-nose art and military livery, which gives the set a confident, heritage feel distinct from anything else on the board.

For players who like a martial, period look — squadron colours rather than camo or neon — Warbird is the obvious pick.

How the set is built

Warbird is an eighteen-weapon set on the Mercenary → Elite ladder. The Elite pair are the Killer Bee Scattergun and the Warhawk Rocket Launcher; three Assassin (Warhawk, Red Bear) and five Commando pieces sit above a Mercenary base built largely from the Blitzkrieg family.

The "Warhawk" and "Blitzkrieg" motifs recur across grades, so — like the larger sets — Warbird supports matched loadouts, with the rarest expression living in the Killer Bee and Warhawk pieces at the top.

Grade distribution

Decorated grades run, rarest to most common: Elite, Assassin, Commando, Mercenary, Freelance, Civilian. Here is how this set's 18 weapons split across the grades it actually contains.

  • Elite 2
  • Assassin 3
  • Commando 5
  • Mercenary 8

The full roster

Every weapon below ships in all five wear tiers (Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle Scarred). Names link to the live catalog page for that item.

What drives value in this set

Warbird concentrates its scarcity in two motifs: the Killer Bee Scattergun and Warhawk Rocket Launcher hold the Elite tier, with the Assassin-grade Warhawk and Red Bear pieces just below, so anyone chasing the top of the set is really chasing those liveries. Condition tells more here than on a flat paint — the fine fighter-nose detailing shows scratches plainly, rewarding Factory New and well-centred rolls — while Strange and unusual copies keep their step over plain Decorated.

How the pieces relate

Warbird rounds out the Mercenary → Elite family with Concealed Killer, Powerhouse and Pyroland. Its closest thematic neighbour is Concealed Killer — both are military in spirit — though Warbird’s heritage-livery look is brighter and more decorative than Concealed Killer’s functional camouflage.
