- Mercenary → Elite ladder
- 5 wear tiers each
Theme & concept
Pyroland is the most playful set on the site, and deliberately the strangest. It pulls straight from the Pyro’s hallucinated world: Rainbow, Balloonicorn, Sweet Dreams, Mister Cuddles, Blue Mew, Brain Candy and Flower Power on the candy-coloured side — set against a wry darker streak in Shot to Hell, Stabbed to Hell and Torqued to Hell. The juxtaposition of saccharine and sinister is the whole joke, and it is what gives Pyroland its strong, recognisable identity.
That novelty cuts both ways: the loudest pieces (the Rainbow paints especially) are instantly recognisable showpieces rather than subtle loadout glue.
How the set is built
Pyroland is a twenty-five-weapon set on the Mercenary → Elite ladder. The three Elite pieces are all "Rainbow" (Grenade Launcher, Sniper Rifle, Flame Thrower); four Assassin pieces (Balloonicorn and Sweet Dreams) sit below, then a broad Commando band (Blue Mew, Mister Cuddles, the "to Hell" pair) over a large Mercenary base built from Blue Mew, Brain Candy and Flower Power.
Like the big Civilian-family sets, Pyroland is organised by motif across many weapons — but here the rarest expression, the Rainbow paint, is concentrated at Elite grade, which makes it both the visual signature and the chase of the set.
Grade distribution
Decorated grades run, rarest to most common: Elite, Assassin, Commando, Mercenary, Freelance, Civilian. Here is how this set's 25 weapons split across the grades it actually contains.
- Elite 3
- Assassin 4
- Commando 7
- Mercenary 11

What drives value in this set
Pyroland’s scarcity is unusually concentrated: all three Elite pieces are "Rainbow" paints, so the rarest grade and the set’s visual signature are one and the same — which makes the Rainbow trio the unambiguous chase. The Assassin-grade Balloonicorn and Sweet Dreams pieces follow, and from there condition and quality do the rest: Factory New ahead of the worn tiers, Strange and unusual ahead of plain Decorated.
Pyroland’s novelty appeal can add demand that a more conventional set would not see — the showpiece paints attract buyers who want a statement item rather than a matched loadout — but that effect is taste-driven and best confirmed against live listings rather than assumed.

How the pieces relate
Pyroland shares the Mercenary → Elite ladder with Concealed Killer, Powerhouse and Warbird, but tonally it is the outlier of the four — the others are tactical, industrial and military, while Pyroland is pure whimsy — which makes it the strongest contrast piece on the board.
